Rangers looking at Josh Windass
The Scottish Sun are reporting Rangers are interested in Accrington Stanley starlet Josh Windass. He is the son of former Aberdeen & Hull City player Dean Windass.
The report states that he will be a free agent next summer so a potential pre-contract could be on the cards or a cut price deal in January.
Rangers new head of recruitment Frank McParland has been tasked with identifying more talent that can compete in the Scottish Premiership. So I'm sure we'll hear a lot of names befor and after January.

Kenny Miller signs new one-year-deal
Kenny Miller has signed a one-year contract extension as his current deal was due to expire in 2016. Mark Warburton spoke to the official web site on the extension;
“This is a playing contract. Kenny is doing his coaching qualifications and doing great work with our under 20s and gaining invaluable experience but have no doubts, Kenny has earned this contract from a playing perspective.
“From the first day of pre-season he developed a real desire and a passion to help take the club forward and he’s made a very positive contribution both on and off the pitch.
“His seniority within the squad is very important, his knowledge and his experience are special when we have such a young squad and have recruited young players and have taken in young loan players too.
“The experience of the likes of Kenny, Dean Shiels and Lee Wallace, as captain of course, is invaluable.
“So he has a key role to play on and off the pitch and I am delighted to have Kenny accept this new contract offer.
“David and I are thrilled to have him commit to the club for another year and I hope very much that Kenny feels a bit part of what we’re doing going forward.
“We’re looking forward to him making a very positive contribution to the club’s development in the coming months.”

Dave King Releases Strong Statement
Dave King released a strong statement on the Rangers web site today regarding recent EBT talk.
"It is disappointing that a debate has re-emerged around the subject of Rangers’ history in Scottish football. It must be especially frustrating for the Club’s supporters who again find individuals within the structures of Scottish football unfairly targeting the Club.
For the avoidance of doubt, however, I wish to make one point clear. If the history of our Club comes under attack we will deal with it in the strongest manner possible and will hold to account those persons who have acted against their fiduciary responsibilities to their own clubs and to Scottish football."

"After the feedback and level of outrage due to todays press revelations we are holding a protest outside the superstore to ask ALL fans to boycott merchandise and Sports Direct.
We are mindful that the game is the remembrance game and no protest will take place inside the stadium or during the game.
SoS will be purchasing large safe banners to be displayed in the vicinity of the store highlighting the reasons for our boycott.
To show unity in the fanbase we would ask all RSC's and groups to bring their banners. Lets get the flags out
Obviously any fan wishing to purchase from the store during our protest should be allowed to do so unhindered however we would respectfully appeal to fans who may visit the store to browse to refrain from doing so during our event. Our aim is an empty store.

Hibs quotes
Alan Stubbs
“I’m not really contemplating the gap being any bigger. What I am contemplating is a really good result, not even thinking of anything other than a win. I have to be honest. That’s the way we have tried to change the mindset of the players that we go into every game, and more so at home, expecting to win.”
Quote - Edinburgh News
Mark Oxley
“That’s the job of the press, to write stories. We’ll just concentrate on our job. We are happy to stay under the radar. Last season it was all Hearts and Rangers, people were writing us off.
“However, we clawed it back although we obviously didn’t get to where we wanted to be. We know in our dressing-room what we are capable of. We have set our targets as to what we want at the end of the season and hopefully we will get there.”

“There’s not much between us and it’s going to be a great game for the fans and the players. We can definitely pile the pressure on them and we’ll be going out attacking to try to close the gap.

Speaking in his Daily Star column Jimmy said;
"I SPENT time with Mark Warburton up at Rangers this week - what a top bloke.
He's a proper football guy who's got them knocking it around so well. I've seen a lot of teams train this season but they are something else.
To think he used to be a city trader, too. I love his story.
Rangers - and Warburton - are going places."
