Rangers have signed 19-year-old midfielder Jordan Rossiter from Liverpool on a four-year-deal. The defensive midfielder was out of contract and Rangers have managed to snap him up on a free but will need to pay compensation as part of the development fee.
The rumoured fee is around £250,000 which is a cut price from a fee of £8 million which English clubs could have had to pay.
Rossiter has been with Liverpool since he was 6-years-old and made his first team debut aged 17. He as found first team football hard to come by as he has only played four games this season. Once in the premier league against Arsenal and playing three times in the Europa League.
He has represented England at Under-16, 17 and 18 level. He was also the captain of the Under-16 England side that won the 2012 Victory Shield.
